I was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais - Brazil, in 1960.
I'm neither a photographer, an artist, cook, musician or poet, but I gravitate towards all of these instruments.
By fate or luck, I migrated to NYC, where I now reside for the past 33 years.
I've worked in the Restaurant industry, from dishwasher to chef's assistant, from busboy to waiter and as part of my life learning experiences, I also ventured into amateur photography, golf, table tennis and jazz drum playing .

Today, I'm a 29 years veteran Car Salesman, which with all my heart, I love it.

And that's what I do for a living, and that's what supports my lifestyle, my family and everything else that keeps me motivated to get up and go to work, just like everyone of you.

What I see in the camera is not what I see as the final image, it's only a possibility of change, a unique opportunity of distortion of reality or a window to put out my inner takes on life, which at times I think that it 's so cruel, so real, so raw; that, it needs my input as an antidote to it's craziness, and to keep my harmony and my anxiety in check, in a close to perfect order as possible.

To my wife, I dedicate these following pages, and to my daughter, the food recipes.
To my musician friends, and Hermeto Pascoal, my biggest thanks for the musical and writing inspirations, and for Merrill, Gab and Eliano, my thanks for putting them into music.
And last, but not least, to Mr. Philippe Sainte-Laudy and his Studio, my biggest thanks, for this opportunity and friendship.
